The Irish Prime Minister met Trudeau in the canadian socks

The Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar welcomed the head of the government of Canada Justin Trudeau in the red socks with the canadian symbols — the maple leaves and mounted police. Trudeau is known for his love of bright socks, and Varadkar decided to play along with him.

Trudeau came to Ireland with a three-day visit. He became the first high-ranking guest from abroad, which takes Varadkar.

The two leaders will discuss mutual trade. The main issue in the negotiations will be the implementation of free trade agreements, which the EU and Canada signed in October 2016.

Trudeau arrived in Dublin with his wife Sophie grégoire and his youngest son Adrian. He also plans to meet with President of Ireland Michael Higgins. At the end of the week, the canadian Prime Minister will travel to the summit of “big twenty” in Hamburg.

Trudeau’s visit to Ireland was discussed in may, when predecessor Varadkar — ENDA Kenny met with Prime Minister of Canada in Montreal. Then Trudeau’s wearing socks with symbols of the Saga “Star wars.”
