Kadyrov has compared the legalization of gay marriage in Germany, with the last day of Pompeii

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has compared the legalization of gay marriage in Germany in the last days of Pompeii and called for the strengthening of the family institution.

The German Bundestag adopted a law on same-sex marriage. Now the document, which gives people with a different sexual orientation the right to register their relationship and adopt children should be approved in the Bundesrat.

“I read one news from the German Bundestag, looked at the reaction of the audience and thought it was the last day of Pompeii. We are convinced that, on the contrary, we must strive to strengthen the family institution. Alternatives to the family and there never will be”, — wrote Kadyrov on his page in Instagram.

The head of Chechnya noted that a strong, healthy family grow morally-sound, decent, honor parents and people who love their Homeland. “Carried out on my orders, the analysis shows that most of the young people who have committed in recent years in Chechnya, serious crime grew up in a defective family,” he added.

Kadyrov also said that he met with the mufti of Chechnya, imams of cities and districts, heads of administrations for a thorough discussion of measures to be taken to reduce divorce, restoration of the previously destroyed families. “I am confident that their implementation will be with the approval received by thousands of residents of Chechnya, which touched on this issue”, — he wrote.
