In the Kremlin expect that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and his us counterpart Donald trump in the negotiations at the summit of “Big twenty” will solve the situation around the arrest of Russian diplomatic property in the United States. This was stated by the assistant to the President Yuri Ushakov on Monday, July 3, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

“If you take the practice questions, they are also important in the bilateral context, I think it’s time to finally make the Russian side the need to respond to “new year promotion” of the previous administration [USA], particularly at weaning us diplomatic property,” Ushakov said at a briefing in Moscow.

He stressed that the issue is extremely important, because in this case violated the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations of 1961, and Russia can not but respond to this unfriendly step. At the same time, according to him, the Kremlin prefers to refrain from reflex action. “So I said, for God’s sake, free us from the need to answer some specific measures,”- said the assistant of the head of state.

Earlier on Monday, press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow is already too long waiting for action in Washington on the return of Russian diplomatic property seized in the end of last year. “With regard to the fact that the patience of the Russian side in this respect, the outcome is also discussed at different levels,” he said.

On June 28 the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said on the preparation of a response to US actions. The diplomat explained that he “will have a very solid base of development”.

At the end of December last year Washington decided within 72 hours 35 to expel Russian diplomats, as well as close access to the residential Embassy complexes in Maryland and in new York city. The next day the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has invited children of American diplomats during new year and Christmas tree in the Kremlin. The Russian leader stressed that U.S. employees depodesta will not be expelled from the country.
