Olga Osina appointed acting General Director of “Mail of Russia”
MOSCOW, 3 Jul — RIA Novosti. First Deputy General Director FGUP “Mail of Russia” on financial, legal and administrative Affairs Olga Osina was appointed acting head of the company, said the head of Ministry of communications Nikolay Nikiforov in his microblog on Twitter.
The contract of the former General Director of “Mail of Russia” Dmitry Strashnov expired at the end of June. He has held his post since April 2013.
In March, “Mail of Russia” appeared in the center of the scandal, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the illegal accrual of salary and bonuses to the company management. According to the investigation, the Director of the Department of organizational development of the Ministry of communications Irina Lapteva at the conclusion of the employment contract with Strasnoy overstated his salary eight times.
Investigators also believe that in April 2015 Lapteva incorrectly calculated Strashnova remuneration for work of “Mail of Russia” in 2014: the payout was inflated 13.4 million to 95.4 million rubles.
In addition, at the end of last year Dmitry Strashnov was involved in the audit. Then the state office of public Prosecutor demanded to Institute criminal proceedings for illegal awards, but later the Ministry said that the head of “Mail of Russia” could face administrative punishment.
