Mayor of Omsk Vyacheslav Dvorakovsky asked to cancel the concert of Nadezhda Babkina in the city Day. A letter with the following appeal sent by the Deputy of regional legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Struchaev. It is published on the website of the MP in “Vkontakte”.
“My request stems from the fact that every year the Omsk, leaving hundreds of young people. (…) I think the problem lies in the fact that local authorities do not wish to notice this trend. But such a seemingly meaningless decision like concerts of unpopular groups, not interest in young people, do not add optimism”, — he wrote.
According to Struchaeva, performance artists such as 67-year-old Babkina, can convince the hawks to the idea that other Russian cities — more modern.
The Deputy cited for comparison concerts on the occasion of the city Day in Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk: local authorities invited to the feast of rapper L One and the rock band “the Accident”.
At the same time, as reports “Msgsdis”, the Director of the Department of culture of Omsk Vladimir Shalak sure that Babkina will be able to “get” citizens. “We know that it works fine with a large number of people, and I think that will be a big unity with the people at this concert,” he said, adding that the city is trying to cater to people of all ages.
It clarifies FlashSiberia, performance Babkina scheduled in Omsk on 5 August. For him, the municipality will pay 2.3 million rubles. It is noted that the residents themselves expressed in social networks is puzzling in this regard. “Omsk — started to lose hope,” joked one Twitter user.
