Eugene Chudnovets, convicted repost in the social network, was nominated for Governor of the Sverdlovsk region from the International party of Russia. Stream of the meeting at which the decision was made, was carried out on its page in Facebook.

Earlier Chudnovets was planning to run for Governor with the support of the people’s party, but changed her mind. According to her, the reason was “conflicting views on a number of issues.”
In addition Chudnovets, the participation in elections of the head of the region said, including the current acting Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, the candidate from the Communist party Alexey Parfyonov, the mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman (the party “Apple”), a member of LDPR Igor Toroshin and athlete Olesya Krasnomovets (she was nominated by party “Patriots of Russia”).

The reason was the census in social networks of a video in which the counselors of the camp abused the boy. The woman said that she wanted to draw attention to their brutality. Later the appellate court reduced the sentence for a month, then the conviction was overturned. In March Chudnovets was released. After that, she announced the intention to engage in human rights activities.
