The White house criticized the American media for wasting air time on a false history about Russia: in the words of White house spokesman Sarah Saunders, the news about Russia was spent from may to June 70 times more time than news about the economy.

“I think the President would like to have performed its attention on the legislative agenda. If you look at media coverage from may to June, if you look at the mainstream media and what they covered, they spent 1 minute on the evening news, talking about tax reform, with a 3 minute infrastructure, 5 min on the economy and job creation, 17 minutes on health and 353 attacking the President and spreading false stories about Russia,” she told reporters at a briefing.

Website Media Research Center cites similar data, Sanders announced at a press briefing. According to them, 353 minutes, or 55% of the total coverage of the US President is paid to the investigation of Russia. According to the MRC, one-third of the coverage of Russian topics in the U.S. media based on anonymous sources. MRC analyzed the reports main American TV channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC.

In the U.S. Congress are now independent investigation about the “Russian interference” in the US presidential election, which was won by Donald trump. A similar investigation leads the FBI. Congress has passed several high-profile hearing on “Russian intervention”, but participated in the hearing, the scouts did not provide any evidence, citing the secrecy of information.

The American media also regularly reports, generally citing unnamed sources, the contacts of the members of the electoral headquarters of the trump with Russian officials and businessmen.

Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov called them “completely unfounded”.
