Continued: there was video from the scene of the accident in Tatarstan
The death toll in an accident with a bus and a truck in Tatarstan has increased to 14. These data were provided by assistant head of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee Elvira Gazizova, reports RIA Novosti.
She noted that the fourteenth body of the victim was recovered from the bus.
Earlier it was reported 13 dead, including two children, and 15 injured.
As noted in the Republican interior Ministry, on the night of July 2 on 52-m kilometre of road the Almetyevsk — Zainsk bus collided with “moving in the passing direction the truck towed on a rigid hitch car KAMAZ”. After the impact the bus overturned and caught fire.
Criminal case as regards 5 articles 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles”) and part 3 of article 238 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Rendering services not meeting safety requirements”).
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov made a decision to provide non-recurrent financial assistance to the families of the victims in the amount of one million rubles.
July 2 in the Republic declared a day of mourning.
