Russia declared persona non grata two Estonian diplomats

MOSCOW, may 31. /TASS/. Russia declared persona non grata the Consul General of Estonia in St.-Petersburg Janus Kerikmae and the head of the Pskov Chancellery of the Consulate General of Katrin Kanarik, diplomats ordered to leave the country within five days. This was stated by the Russian foreign Ministry.

As reported in the Ministry, “in connection with hostile action of the authorities of Estonia, declared persona non grata two Russian diplomats, may 31, the Russian foreign Ministry had summoned the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia in Moscow Arti Hilpus”.

“The head of the Estonian Embassy handed a note, which says that as a response to the provocative step of Tallinn made the decision to declare persona non grata the Consul General of Estonia in St.-Petersburg Janus Kerikmae and the head of the Pskov Chancellery of the Consulate General of Estonia in St.-Petersburg Catherine Canary, – stressed in dipvedomstva. – The listed Estonian diplomats ordered to leave the Russian Federation within five days”.
