“This is paranoia”: Gref commented on the attitude of the US towards Russia

The head of Sberbank German Gref in an interview with CNBC talked about their views on relations between Russia and the United States, accusing the latter in “paranoia”.

According to the banker, quoted by RBC that “the situation is very complicated. We see that there is a paranoid attitude to Russia and to any contacts with Russia — real or imagined”.

On the issue of Gref meetings with the President of the United States Donald trump banker noted that “it’s just paranoia to assume that such contacts can lead to some political consequences.”

We will remind that on Thursday at the Reuters website published an article, according to which during the presidential race of the US team members trump 18 times contacted representatives of the Kremlin. The alleged contacts were made through the Russian Ambassador in Washington Sergey Kislyak, and Kuma Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk.

Medvedchuk himself denied this information, while Reuters sources added that during the contact they discussed the issues of us-Russian relations, the Syrian agenda and the containment of China.
