The polls: the causes of disease, the Russians called work and stress
MOSCOW, may 11 — RIA Novosti. The main causes of poor health, the Russians often call the work and stress, lack of money for medicines for treatment and prevention of diseases, as well as the environment, the survey showed the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM).
“The health problems our citizens blame first of all the work and stress (35%), and lack of money for medicine and disease prevention (35%), bad ecology (32%). In this case, if the importance of the first factor for two years significantly decreased (from 47% in 2015), financial difficulties began to indicate as causes of disease twice as often (17%)”, — stated in the materials of the survey, which is available to RIA Novosti.
Among the reasons of diseases the respondents include the age and accumulated years problems, inability to relax (28%), bad habits and lack of physical activity (15%), heredity (14%), work in hazardous environments or living near such a facility (13%), malnutrition (13%).
A nationwide survey “polls-Sputnik” was held on 23-24 April 2017 among 1.2 thousand respondents by telephone interviews. The statistical error does not exceed 3.5%.
