“If we talk, say, about the American media, Russia – the manner and method of conducting political struggle. If we talk about European media, there needs Russia in order to build a new relationship with a new U.S. administration. In order not to forget about Euro-Atlantic structures, it is necessary to frighten Russia and say that they are on some cutting edge, almost in the front line,” – said the diplomat.

On February 23 the Financial Times published an article which, citing unnamed European diplomats stated that “Russia demands from world powers to pay for the rebuilding of Syria.”
