The President of Russia Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Tomb of the unknown Soldier in day of the defender of Fatherland, the press service of the Kremlin.
“The President also laid flowers to the stele of the hero–cities at the Kremlin wall. The ceremony ended with a March of soldiers of the Presidential regiment”, — stated in the message.
The ceremony was also attended by veterans of the great Patriotic war, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and other public officials.
