SK has completed the investigation into a helicopter crash in Ugra in 2015
MOSCOW, 22 Feb — RIA Novosti. Completed investigation of criminal case upon crash in 2015 helicopter AS-350 in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district (KHMAO), in which four people were killed, is spoken in the message of the RF IC.
At the end of November 2015, six kilometers from the village of Cedar Khanty-Mansiysk district, an accident with a helicopter AS-350. According to available information, on Board the aircraft were two crew members and two passengers. They all died at the scene, the helicopter destroyed. In this regard, the investigation has opened a criminal case.
According to the conclusion of the Interstate aviation Committee, the cause of the crash of the helicopter has become a disorientation of the aircraft commander and flying at a height below the safe.
“Completed investigation of the criminal case against the commander of an aircraft of the helicopter “Eurocopter AS-350″, accused of committing a crime under part 3 St. 263 criminal code (violation of safety rules of movement and operation of air transport, entailed on imprudence death more than two persons)”, — stated in the message.
As the commander of the helicopter died in the crash, but his family refused to terminate the criminal case, his wife acquainted with the decision to prosecute the victim as the accused and a criminal case.
Currently, investigators collected sufficient evidentiary base and criminal case was sent to resolve the question of approval of the indictment and transfer to court for consideration on the merits, said the Agency.
