The court arrested three members of the gang kingpin Pichugin
Moscow. 19 Feb. INTERFAX.RU — Court arrested three members of an organized criminal group (OCG) criminal authority Yury Pichugin, in Komi detained on suspicion of forming a criminal organization, participation in it and illegal possession of weapons.
As the press service of the regional TFR, the court elected in respect of three of the eight detained defendants in a criminal case — oktay Efendiyev, the head of Vanuyto and Ahmed Isaev — of a measure of restraint in form of detention for a period of two months.
According to the investigation, Vanuyto occupied a leading position in the group, and Efendiev and Isaev ensure the safety of its participants in case of occurrence of various conflicts with competitors, was responsible for one of the weapons caches that could be applied if necessary in the interests of a criminal organization.
In the near future the court will choose a measure of restraint to other members of the gang.
The leader and seven members of a gang Yury Pichugin was suspected of forming a criminal organization, participation in it, and also illegal acquisition, transfer, transportation and possession of firearms, their parts and ammunition.
