Italian and American scientists has discovered on Ceres organic compounds that are necessary for the emergence and maintenance of life. Writes about this “Tape.ru” with reference to the journal Science.
The so-called “ingredients of life” was discovered in the spectral survey of the dwarf planet’s surface near the crater Arnott. Research conducted by the unit Dawn.
The scientists noted that these aliphatic organic compounds was on the dwarf planet originally, and was not imposed from outside.
Ceres – dwarf planet in the Solar system, located in the asteroid belt. The planet is spherical and has a diameter of about 950 kilometers.
