In Kiev the nationalists hung a portrait of Bandera at the Polish Embassy

Ukrainian nationalists from the organization “Black Board” hung the portrait of Stepan Bandera on the fence of the Polish Embassy in Kiev. Corresponding video the organizers have posted on his page in “Vkontakte”.


 


So the nationalists have decided to respond to anti-Ukrainian statements of high officials of Poland.


 


“Remember, the heroes of Poland of its statesmen, pursued a blatant anti-Ukrainian policy, particularly Pilsudski. But every country has the right to respect those who considers it necessary”, – said the representatives of the organization.


 


Earlier, the leader of the ruling Polish party “law and justice” Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that the future of Polish-Ukrainian relations depends on the position of Kiev on historical issues.


 


“It is still unclear whether the will of Ukraine in the direction that Poland is unacceptable, that is, support its historical legitimacy on the tradition of the Ukrainian insurgent army, on the traditions of organization that have committed horrendous crimes against the poles, or to abandon this path,” the politician said in the air of a local radio station.


 


Stepan Bandera, the founder of the extremist organization of the UPA prohibited in Russia. During the great Patriotic war, the UPA collaborated with the Nazis and fought against the Soviet troops.
