The Russian Embassy in Turkey responded to the selection jury of the World Press Photo

MOSCOW, 14 Feb — RIA Novosti. The Russian Embassy in Ankara called the complete degradation of morals and moral values recognition of the year’s photos of the murdered Ambassador of Russia to Turkey Andrei Karlov, according to a statement on page diplomatic mission in the social network Facebook.

“The selection jury of the World Press Photo discouraging. Complete degradation of morals and values. Deeply regret that in the pursuit of fame, the giver rotten, in the course of going any means. Propaganda terror terror are unacceptable,” the statement reads.

Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov, was shot dead on 19 December 2016 during a speech at the opening of the photo exhibition in Ankara.

The Russian foreign Ministry has described the incident as a terrorist attack. The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under article “an act of international terrorism”.
