Russian reconnaissance ship “Victor Leonov” today, was spotted 30 miles off the coast of Connecticut, near the base of submarines of the U.S. Navy, reports the American TV channel Fox News.
It is noted that the vehicle does not cross the US border, while in international waters.
According to the channel, it is expected that the ship will continue to move South along the U.S. East coast and will be back in the Caribbean.
On the eve of the TV channel reported that the Russian ship was seen 70 miles from the coast of the state of Delaware.
“Viktor Leonov” has already appeared at another submarine base Kings Bay USA off the coast of Havana, Cuba in January 2015.
