The Council for legislative support of the development of the digital economy will create when the Chairman of the state Duma, said the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during a working trip to the city Innopolis in Tatarstan.
The innopolis city under construction in Tatarstan, which is located 30 kilometers from Kazan. Now the development of city infrastructure, which includes the Federal University, special economic zone, industrial Park, sports complex.
“The first advice, after consulting with colleagues we decided to create a Council for legislative support of the development of the digital economy”, — said Volodin.
He added that the Council will work with leading experts in the IT industry, “so we current tasks could efficiently be solved”.
Previously, working as the first Deputy head of the Russian presidential administration, Volodin was in charge of the development of the IT and Internet industry, met regularly with its representatives.
Speaker of the state Duma on Monday a working visit to Kazan. Along with him came a number of chairmen of the Duma Committee Sergey Zhigarev (economic policy), Leonid Levin (information policy), Dmitry Morozov (health), Vyacheslav Nikonov (education and science), as well as the head of the faction “United Russia” Vladimir Vasilyev.
