In connection with celebration of defender of the Fatherland Day next week in Russia will be from Thursday to Sunday inclusive, said Deputy head of the Department.
“February 23, Fatherland defender’s Day, this year falls on a Thursday. In order to ensure the rational use of working time the government had previously taken the decision to transfer the weekend from Sunday, January 1, on Friday, February 24. As for the celebration of International women’s day on March 8, 2017 this holiday falling on a Wednesday, will divide the working week into two equal parts. “The holiday falls on a Wednesday, and it will be one day off.
