The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson in the near future to discuss the work on the preparation of the meeting of the two presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald trump.
This was announced by Russian Ambassador in Washington Sergey Kislyak.
“I do not exclude even sure that in the near future there will be meetings of Ministers [Lavrov and Tillerson] all prepared for this – this will be stated. And it will, I think, a good start to the overall process in the development of a dialogue on the alignment of relations,” the Ambassador said in an interview with Russian journalists on the eve of the Day of the diplomatic worker.
Kislyak noted that the meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States require “serious and substantive content of professional work.”
“I’m sure [the presidents] will occur because there is an active demand, there is an understanding of our President that such a meeting should be arranged, and it will be”, — quotes words of the diplomat “RIA Novosti”.
