President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic may become Ambassador to Russia, Interfax reports, citing local media.

The publication won’t reveal their sources. They report that Nikolic can go on service in Moscow if the Serbian progressive party will not support his candidacy for President.

In Serbia the President is elected every five years. Nikolic won the election in 2012, but, according to media reports, most parties want to see the head of state, the current Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.
