Medvedev awarded the Shuvalov medal of Stolypina of I degree

First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov was awarded the Stolypin medal of the first degree. Relevant government order signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, published on the portal disclosure of legal information.

“For merits in solving strategic tasks of socio-economic development of the country and years of diligent work to award the medal of P. A. Stolypin I degree First Deputy Chairman of Russian government Igor Shuvalov”, — the document says.

Shuvalov holds the post of first Deputy Prime Minister since may 2008, the government official, in particular, supervises the privatization of state property. Previously Shuvalov was the assistant of President Vladimir Putin.

The Stolypin medal is awarded for merits in solving strategic tasks of socio-economic development of the country in industry, construction, science, transport, agriculture, health, education, culture etc. the Stolypin Medal first degree awarded, including the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, the former head of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin, the Chairman of the accounts chamber Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, the head of RSPP Alexander Shokhin and former Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev, who is under house arrest on charges of bribery.
