French President Francois Hollande urged Europe to “give a robust response” to the new President of the United States Donald Trump in connection with his statements about Brexit, which “should become an example for Europe”, reported TASS.
“When there are statements emanating from the President of the United States to Europe, when he says that Brexit is a model for other countries, I think we need to answer him”, – said the leader of France.
According to Hollande, in relations with the new occupant of the White house he intends to adhere to strict positions, connected with the General interests of Europe. The French leader says that Europe must engage America in a dialogue, on the basis of own values, principles and interests.
