Putin awarded Zakharov awards

Russian President Vladimir Putin on 26 January presented state awards to 30 Russians. This is reported by the Rambler/news citing TASS.

Among the awarded orders, medals and marks of assignment of honorary titles – scientists, doctors, artists and government officials.

In particular, the President and leading KVN Alexander Maslyakov, received the order “For merits before Fatherland” II degree. The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova was awarded the order of Friendship, and the actor Vasily Livanov was awarded the order of Merit.

In addition, the star of Hero of Russia Putin presented pilot-test pilot of the first class Valery Potashov, and the order “For merits before Fatherland” I degree – the adviser to the head of Russian Railways Gennady Fadeev. Order of Alexander Nevsky was awarded to the Metropolitan of Yaroslavl and Rostov Panteleimon and the Governor of the Holy Dormition Pskov-caves monastery Archimandrite Tikhon. Spetskorr VGTRK Evgeny Poddubny was awarded the order “For merits before Fatherland” IV degree.

The awarding ceremony was traditionally held in the Catherine hall of the Kremlin.
