State Duma Deputy, former Prosecutor of the Crimea Natalia Polonskaya reacted to the decision of the court in Kiev to allow the Ukrainian Prosecutor General to launch a special investigation against her. The statement of the parliamentarian published in Facebook.
According to Poklonski, the investigation is conducted solely for political reasons, because it did not support the coup that occurred in Ukraine in 2014. “Political motives in the present case, confirmed by numerous reports of international organizations”, — said the Deputy.
Policies that the court’s decision absurd and complained that the Ukrainian authorities did not write her any letters and not tried to talk to her. “And one more clarification: in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine are now they are in Kiev, not me” — summed up the MP.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine on January 25 has made a court authorization to start pre-trial investigation in respect of Poklonskaya, reported RIA Novosti. The decision is motivated by the fact that it was not on interrogation to the investigator in Kiev. Former Crimean Prosecutor is suspected of treason.
