Anti-Russian sentiments in some European countries are implanted from the outside, said the Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Thus he commented on the statement of the Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden that Moscow is threatening the liberal world order and seeks to impose its will on other countries. About it the correspondent “Tapes.ru” on Thursday, January 19.

“Russia has always shown an absolute lack of understanding in relation to hysterical, emotional russophobian background, which is often imposed from the outside with our neighbouring States, the Baltic States, Eastern European States”, — said Peskov.

According to him, Moscow is “never intimidated” and did not intervene in the wrong state. “Russia didn’t destroy the entire country and is not going to do it, on the contrary, actively participates in the fight against terrorism in order to save the country, to spare many regions from possible irreversible consequences”, — explained the official representative of the Kremlin.

On the eve, 18 January, Biden described Russia as the main threat to the global liberal order. In his opinion, Moscow uses every opportunity to “destroy the European project, to test the strength of the West and wants to return to a policy of division of spheres of influence.” Also Vice-President of the United States suggested that Russia is seeking the return of a world order in which “a strong impose their will through military might, corruption or crime, and weaker neighbors — obey”.

The credentials of the representatives of the current US administration will expire on January 20 in connection with the inauguration of the elected President of the USA of Donald trump.
