KUWAIT city, 18 Jan. /Offset. TASS Pavel Prokofiev/. Commander of the Armed forces (AF) Iraq’s Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, refuted information about supposedly the complete liberation of East Mosul from the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia). The corresponding statement the head of the Iraqi Cabinet of Ministers has extended his office.
“The moment of final victory in Mosul is getting closer. Currently, our army is conducting an operation to liberate the remaining (under the control of the IG – approx. correspondent.) areas in the North (East of Mosul)”, – he said, effectively refuting a statement about the complete liberation of the Eastern neighborhoods of the city.
