The participants of the Congress of Ukrainian communities in Russia on Monday signed a resolution calling on the President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko to stop the anti-Russian policy and to improve relations with Moscow.
International multimedia press center MIA “Russia today” on Monday organized the Congress of Ukrainian communities in Russia.
“Following the events in Moscow, the participants adopted a resolution calling on the President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko to stop the anti-Russian policy and to establish economic and cultural ties with Russia and to take measures to protect the Russian language and culture”, — stated in a press release following the event.
Participants also noted that “the ordinary Ukrainian citizens and MPs are increasingly involved with initiatives to establish relations with Russia.”
