The President of Russia Vladimir Putin thanked the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in his efforts that in bilateral relations there has been a shift, and expressed hope that the two-day talks will contribute to the development of Russian-Japanese relations.
“Thanks to your efforts, there is a certain shift in the development of Russian-Japanese relations. My colleagues and I hope that our meetings today and tomorrow will make a significant contribution to the development of Russian-Japanese relations,” Putin said.
