Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived from Nagato in Tokyo, where he will hold a second round of talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, writes RIA Novosti.
On the eve of talks between the two leaders began in the small town of Nagato in Yamaguchi Prefecture, homeland of the head of the Japanese government.
The meeting in Tokyo will be held in expanded format in the format of a business Breakfast, it also will take part representatives of large business of Russia and Japan. As reported by the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, it is expected that after the talks in Tokyo will be signed about a dozen interstate and up to 15 major commercial agreements.
One of the documents prepared following the visit, the statement of Putin and Abe on the consultation about the start of the Russian-Japanese joint economic activities on southern Kuriles.
A joint programme of the two leaders will continue after official negotiations with participation in the “Russian-Japanese business dialogue” organized by the Japan Federation of business and Russian business associations. Then Putin and Abe will visit Tokyo’s famous center of martial arts Kodokan, after which the Russian President will leave Japan.
