HAVANA, 30 Nov — RIA Novosti, Oleg Vyazmitinov. About a million people attended in Havana at a mass event, dedicated to the memory of the leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro, told RIA Novosti the organizers of the event.

The event, held on Tuesday evening at Havana’s Revolution square, the Central square of the city and one of the symbols of the Cuban capital, gathered government leaders and politicians, and Latin America, and other countries. The Russian delegation was headed by the Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
The program ceremonies were 18 speakers, closed the ceremony by Cuban leader Raul Castro promised that the Cuban people will continue their struggle until victory.
