The representatives of the world food programme, the United Nations, the world health organization and UNICEF have confirmed their desire to deliver cargo to Syria. This was stated by the official representative of the defense Ministry major-General Igor Konashenkov.
According to him, all these organizations are willing to send aid to Syria, but can’t do it immediately. The defense Ministry promised to take the delivery of medical care.
“For its part, the Russian Centre of reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria ready to coordinate with the Syrian authorities accepting applications for the delivery of medical care, arrange to meet her at the airport Hamim, and provide transportation of cargoes of international organizations in the Syrian towns,” – said Konashenkov.
Konashenkov also said that the real help now need a minimum of 73 settlements. At the moment, medicine brings them only Russia, but these volumes are insufficient.
