The investigative Committee (IC), the powers of which Russia included the investigation of serious, especially serious or high-profile crimes, said on Sunday the sixth anniversary of the date of creation.

In addition, currently in Russia under arrest are three ex-Governor, ex-Governor of the Komi Republic Vyacheslav Gaiser, the former head of the Sakhalin region Alexander Khoroshavin, and a former Governor of Kirov region Nikita Belykh. Increasingly, investigators of SK of Russia have to deal with crimes committed outside of Russia. So, in connection with military operations in the South-East of Ukraine Investigative Committee created a special Department to investigate international crimes against civilians committed on the territory of this country. In the production of this management several dozen criminal cases. To operate this structure, according to the press service of the Ministry, will be as long as all Ukrainian military men and persons who commit crimes against civilians will not be prosecuted.
Also, in cooperation with colleagues from Turkey, the Russian investigators establish the motives for the murder of the Russian Ambassador in Ankara, Andrey Karlov and are looking for involved in this crime, together with the Egyptian side to investigate the terrorist attack, which crashed over the Sinai plane with Russian tourists.
