Well-known Russian journalist Vadim Rechkalov died on 53-m to year of life, informs a site “MK”.
Rechkalov worked in the “General newspaper”, “the Moscow news”, “news”, and was also a columnist of the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets”.
The journalist has repeatedly covered the events in “hot spots” in Chechnya and South Ossetia.
In 2004 Vadim Rechkalov became the laureate of the award named after Artem Borovik for a series of publications about terrorism and terrorists. In 2008, he was awarded a diploma for reporting military action in South Ossetia.
