The President of Russia signed a law that evading military service at the call were banned from holding jobs in state or municipal service within 10 years after the offense. The corresponding decree was published on Wednesday, July 26, on the official portal of legal information.
According to the amendments to the law “On municipal service in the Russian Federation”, the Dodgers have a chance to realize themselves in the civil service. In 2014, the state Duma adopted a law under which the offender’s untimely could not hold the office of a civil servant or municipal employee. Later the constitutional court found this provision does not correspond to the country’s Basic law and ordered her to adjust.
The law also spelled out the algorithm of actions of the draft Board and Director, whose works objector. So, the military Commissariat has the responsibility to inform the heads of state and municipal authorities about their Dodgers. If the offender will be able to get a job, he’ll get fired and the employer will have to report about dismissal.
The document was adopted by the state Duma in the third final reading on July 14. In the explanatory Memorandum it was noted that the adoption of the document will help to reduce the number of draft Dodgers.
