The ECHR awarded €6 thousand one of the convicts for the murder of Nemtsov

The European court of human rights (ECHR) awarded a €6 million compensation to the Boy Eskerhanova convicted of participation in murder of Boris Nemtsov. This was announced Tuesday in court.

Submitted by Eskerhanova and brothers Anzor and Shadid Gubarevym the complaint of the condemned pointed to the cruel and degrading, in their view, the treatment of them. They also pointed to the violation of their rights to effective judicial protection, complained about the conditions of detention and transportation.

The Moscow district military court (MOVS) on July 13 sentenced eskerhanova and brothers Gubarevich to 14, 19 and 16 years in prison. Killer Zaur Dadayev, was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and the accused Khamzat – for 11 years.

The opposition leader and co-Chairman of party PARNASSUS Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27, 2015 in Central Moscow, on the Big Moskvoretsky bridge. In politics with a close range shot from a Makarov pistol and four bullets hit him in the back. Nemtsov died on the spot.
