Maduro accused the CIA of plotting a coup with a view to its overthrow

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has accused the Central intelligence Agency (CIA) in collusion with Mexico and Colombia for the preparation of a conspiracy against the democratic government of his country. It is reported BFMTV.

“I ask the President [of the USA Donald] trump to explain the words of CIA Director, who imagines himself a world government,” said Maduro.

Prior to that, the Venezuelan Minister of foreign Affairs Samuel Moncado posted in a Twitter message that the CIA, in conjunction with Bogota and Mexico city are committed to the overthrow of the leadership of Venezuela. For publication was attached a scan of the transcript of the statements made by, presumably, the head of the CIA Mike Pompeo during the security Forum in aspen on July 20.

As writes El Universal, the document says that Pompeo had said about the serious interest of the US in Colombia, as well as that Washington is very optimistic on the prospect of regime change in Venezuela.
