Former Director of US intelligence James Clapper fears that President Donald trump “will make Russia great again”, violating his campaign promise “to make again the great” America.
At a security conference in Colorado, asked Clapper, perceives whether trump “the Russian threat” seriously.
“It’s hard to say. I sometimes wonder if he wants to make Russia great again. Sometimes I really wonder if he takes it seriously and it is clear how (DCS) and Dan Coates (CIA Director) Mike Pompeo,” said Clapper.
The us special services accuse Russia of “meddling in the election” in 2016, the investigation on this subject are the FBI and the Committee on intelligence of the house of representatives and the Senate. The investigation also leads a specially appointed Prosecutor. Russia has repeatedly denied accusations of attempts to influence U.S. elections, but the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov called them “completely unfounded”. The Kremlin and the White house also denied suspicions of “collusion trump with Russia.”
The slogan “let’s Make America great again” was a major one during the election campaign trump.
