The President of the United States Donald trump and his wife Melania wished the Senator-Republican John McCain, who was diagnosed with brain cancer, a speedy recovery. A statement published on the White house website.
“Senator John McCain has always been a fighter. We Melania sent their thoughts and prayers to Senator Makeinu, [his wife] Cindy and their family. Hurry and get well”, — stated in the message.
Earlier it was reported that 80-year-old politician removed the blood clot above his left eye. The tissue analysis conducted after this procedure, showed that this education is for primary glioblastoma.
McCain is recovering after surgery at home in Arizona. The doctors are considering different treatment options, including combination chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Glioblastoma is a very aggressive tumor. It is formed in the tissue of the brain and spinal cord. According to American doctors, the average survival period of patients in whom it is diagnosed is about 14 months under treatment.
