Evaders banned from working in the civil service for ten years

The state Duma adopted in the third final reading the bill on a ten-year ban on public and municipal service the citizens who have not passed military service on an appeal without legal grounds. This was reported on the website of the lower house of Parliament on Friday, July 14.

“Previously (in 2014 — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), we passed a law stating that if a Russian citizen not passed military service on an appeal without legal grounds, he prematurely could not hold the office of a civil servant or municipal employee,” reminded the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defense Andrei Krasov.

He noted that the constitutional court then rightly demanded to adjust this rule, so it does not contradict the country’s basic law.

In the explanatory note to the document notes that the adoption of the document will help to reduce the number of draft Dodgers. The law also spelled out the algorithm of actions of the draft Board and Director, whose works objector.

In the second reading the document was approved on 5 July.
