New Russian Ambassador to Turkey arrives in Ankara

ANKARA, 15 Jul — RIA Novosti. The new Ambassador of Russia to Turkey Alex erchov arrived to work in Ankara on Saturday he will participate in a special session of Parliament on the anniversary of the attempted coup, told RIA Novosti acting press-attache of the Embassy of Russia to Turkey Alexander Leshukov on Saturday.

In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Erchova Ambassador of Russia in Turkey. Erchov previously worked at the Embassy in Egypt, occupied the post of General Consul of Russia in Istanbul.

“The new Russian Ambassador Alexey erkhov arrived today in Ankara. At the airport he was met by Director of the Protocol Department of Turkish Ministry of foreign Affairs of Sevki Mutevellioglu. Copies of credentials will be awarded on Monday,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

He added that, despite the fact that credentials have not yet delivered on Saturday by special invitation of the Chairman of the Turkish Parliament Ibrahim Kahraman in agreement with the President of the country Tayyip Erdogan erchov will participate in a special session of Parliament on the anniversary of the attempted coup.

Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov was killed December 19, 2016 in Ankara for the opening of the exhibition.
