Putin chastised the Sverdlovsk Governor for the reduction of free medical services
Ekaterinburg. July 9. INTERFAX — Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev to deal with the reduction of free services in medical institutions of the region.
On Sunday, the head of state handed over to the head of the region appeals and complaints received in the direct line.
“Irregular receipt of preferential medicines. Municipal units are transferred to private institutions. But that wasn’t the deal never. What is this?” — voiced Vladimir Putin is one of the appeals.
“You don’t have to reduce the scope of, the provision of free services. And thirdly, absolutely — municipal medical institutions, it’s municipal property, most likely, translate into private. It’s almost a hidden privatization, if they open private clinics,” — said Vladimir Putin.
He also read the Governor some of the complaints and indignation of citizens.
“As bad as it is now, was never” — read the head of state one of the received requests. However, he noted that in the whole country, progress in the development of healthcare, as evidenced by the increase in life expectancy of Russians and other indicators.
