MOSCOW, 6 Jul — RIA Novosti. The Governor and the Bishop discussed the restoration of monasteries and temples.
Andrei Vorobyov and Bishop Tikhon, the meeting discussed issues related to the restoration of churches and monasteries in the suburbs, reported the TV channel “360”.
The meeting was held on Wednesday at the Sretensky monastery. The main issues were the prospects of Interregional cooperation of the Council of Russian-Chinese Committee of friendship, peace and development, and the Patriarchal Council for culture.
According to Bishop Tikhon, Moscow region, may be most intense in the country by the surviving monuments of architecture. He noted that the meeting discussed the issue of restoration, preservation of monuments, as well as the supervision of their condition.
