The Prosecutor General’s office has demanded to block a few nationalist sites
They include such resources as “Sputnik and Pogrom”, “Russian sector”, “Right view”.
Moscow. July 6. INTERFAX.RU — the General Prosecutor’s office of Russia demanded from Roskomnadzor to block a number of Internet resources about the nationalist nature of that support banned in Russia organization “Right sector”, ISIS and “Dzhabhat-EN-Nusra”. This was reported “Interfax” in a press-service of supervising Department.
“As a result of work to stop the dissemination of extremist and terrorist nature of the identified information resources of the nationalist wing, including “Sputnik and Pogrom”, “Russian sector”, “Right view” and others. Also there are numerous materials justifying activity is prohibited in Russia organizations “Right sector”, “Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant, Jabhat al-Nusra” and other terrorist groups fighting in Syria,” — said in the message Department.
As noted, “in order to counter such manifestations of” the Prosecutor General’s office introduced a package of six demands to the Roskomnadzor for the rapid blocking of illegal content.
In supervising Department believe that “these resources are promoting the idea of national and religious hatred, which forms a threat to public safety, encourages extremism.”
