India opened the longest in the country bridge into the disputed territory with China
Moscow. May 26. INTERFAX.RU India opened the bridge with a length of 9.15 km across the river lohit in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeast India, said on Friday the radio and television “bi-Bi-si”.
“The relationship with China becomes increasingly strained, so we have strengthened our infrastructure to protect our territory,” — said the Junior Minister of internal Affairs of India Kieren Rijiju.
Arunachal Pradesh is the subject of a territorial dispute between India and China.
India’s longest bridge ‘Bhupen Hazarika’ over river Lohit in Assam is 9.15 km-long.
