RBC: Babushkinsky District became the leader in growth in studio prices in Moscow

Since November 2020, one square meter in studios in Babushkinsky district has risen in price by an average of 92 percent – to 311.8 thousand rubles. The second place was taken by the Khoroshevsky district – prices in it increased by 50 percent, the cost of one square meter increased from 251.8 thousand rubles to 376.8 thousand rubles. The third place was taken by Lyublino, where a square meter in the studio rose by 47 percent – from 165.9 thousand rubles to 244.4 thousand rubles.
Prices in Lefortovo rose by 44 percent – to 215.4 thousand rubles per square meter, in the Ramenki area – by 43 percent (451.3 thousand rubles). A total of 5.7 thousand studios were offered on the primary market of Old Moscow in November. The average price increased by 38 percent and amounted to 320.4 thousand rubles. Analysts associate the rise in studio prices with high demand for this type of housing, since a small footprint reduces the final cost.
In Moscow, as in other large cities of Russia, prices for secondary real estate also increased. In November, the cost of living space increased by 22.3 percent compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, experts believe that the cheapest secondary real estate in Moscow can be found in the Nekrasovka area – a square meter in this area costs an average of 193.9 thousand rubles.
