Stanisav Cherchesov called Poland an interesting contender for the Russian national team in the butts 
Former head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov called teams in the play-off semi-finals in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. This is reported by Championship.com.
“There is Robert Lewandowski, Grzegorz Krychowiak – everything is clear. We play in four months. The situation can change in all teams. Experience suggests that nothing is known yet, ”Cherchesov reacted. He also noted that the home stadium will be an advantage for the Russians.
The draw took place earlier on Friday, 26 November. In case of victory over Poland in the semi-finals of the mini-tournament, Valery Karpin's team will play with the winner of the Czech Republic – Sweden pair.
The World Championship in Qatar will be held in November – December 2022. 32 teams will take part in the final stage.
