The incident occurred on Lyublinskaya Street. The police were contacted by a man who said that he had come with a small child to the store. He took the toy and they left the store without paying for it. They were later caught up by the store's security officers. The verbal conflict escalated into a scuffle in which the man was injured.

The beaten Muscovite was hospitalized. The child was not physically injured, the police said. The attackers were detained and an investigation is underway.

Earlier in Yekaterinburg, a security guard at the Kit shopping center quarreled with a visitor to a shopping center, as he thought that her vaccination certificate was not real, and then beat her. According to the Russian woman, the man dragged her out of the room and rested against the post, and when passers-by rushed to protect the woman, he threw her over him, pressed her knee to the ground and began to hold her. The surrounding people called the police.
